What we collect
Contact form. We collect your name, email address, topic, and message.
Vendor interest. We collect your business name, contact name, email address, and product category. You can also share a website or social profile, describe what you sell, and choose whether to receive vendor opportunity and application updates.
Market updates. We collect your email address, your first name if you provide it, and a record of your signup and consent, including when and where you signed up.
Website activity. Our hosting and security services may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, requested pages, and request times. We use technical information to run the site, troubleshoot issues, and limit spam or abuse.
02
How we use it
We use contact messages to respond to you and vendor interest submissions to follow up about your business and plan the market. If you opt in, we use your email to send market news or vendor opportunity updates, depending on what you signed up for. Sending us a message or expressing vendor interest does not automatically subscribe you to market updates.
03
Who helps us run the site
Form submissions are stored privately on our WordPress site. Depending on the form, a copy may also be sent to the MAZ Events team by email. Our hosting, site security, and email service providers process information to help us operate the site and deliver messages. If MailPoet is connected, we use it to manage market update subscriptions and email delivery.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when legally required or to protect the site and the people who use it.
04
Cookies and outside links
The site and its service providers may use cookies or similar tools for site functionality, security, and preferences. You can manage cookies in your browser settings. Some site features may work differently if you block them.
If you follow a link to a social platform or another website, that service’s privacy policy applies to what you do there.
05
How long we keep it
We keep information as needed to respond to inquiries, manage vendor interest and subscriptions, and maintain necessary records. We may retain a limited record of an unsubscribe request so we can honor it. Copies may remain in backups until those backups are replaced or expire.
06
Your choices
Use the unsubscribe link in a market update email to stop receiving those emails. You can also contact us to change your email preferences or ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. We may need to verify your request, and some records may be retained where required or permitted by law.
07
Children’s privacy
Our website forms are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate.
08
Questions or requests
Use our contact form for questions about this policy or to make a privacy request. Choose “General question” and start your message with “Privacy request” so we can route it. Please do not include sensitive information in your message.
If we update this policy, we’ll post the revised version here and change the date at the top.
