When it comes to wedding décor, our bride Raessah had seen it all! Maz Events had delivered 5 amazing events previously in the family. A crystal themed wedding, a pink themed wedding, a rustic themed wedding and a floral themed wedding. What could we do that was new? How could we create newness? How could we transform the IXL centre to the most magical wedding venue?
By taking all the guests on holiday of course. We transported all our guests to the most romantic city in the world. We spent a Night in Paris with every detail that you can imagine included in this magnificent themed wedding.
We chose very Parisian colours for the wedding theme of ivory, peach, pink and gold. These colours created the opulence of the stunning palaces of France as well as give us the delicateness we needed for a floral wedding.
As guests walked in, we created a stunning entrance that included the Arc de Triomphe as the wedding gateway where all the guests entered. The detail on the archway had a striking resemblance to the real thing.
The walkway was printed floral runway showcasing the flowers that we used in the table centres and on the stage. This created the theatre in the room and created the divide for the family tables either side of the walkway.
The Wedding Stage
Our wedding stage was an amazing LED screen with content of the most magical night in Paris. The Eiffel tower twinkled, the skyline of Paris was lit by the stars and other iconic buildings sparkled in the night sky. A huge balcony with sweeping steps was built for the stage that Raessah and Abdul sat on. Water fountains either side of the stage with flowers added the finishing touches.
Our table centres included Eiffel Tower table centres with little twinkly fairy lights. Stunning floral birdcages on gold stands that added extra Parisian chic. Tall floral statement table centres on ornate gold stands created drama and height. The finishing touches that framed the room and created the walkway were long family tables with stunning louis chairs, bespoke tables with floral trims and floral statement rings on tables. Floral printed tablecloths, charger plates and gorgeous blush pink and ivory table linen were just the icing on the cake!
Our Paris themed entertainers’ welcome guests as they arrived with acts that you would expect to see in the streets of Paris. Accordion players, mime artists, Parisian meet and Greet artists set the scene. Later they entertained guests with their LED wing ballet dancing as well as street mime – a show that was so electric that the atmosphere they created is still palpable when you see the images!
