Our beautiful bride Disha married Prateek on 4th April at Riverbank Plaza Hotel, London.
The Hindu wedding took place in the Thames Suite which has the most magnificent view of London Bridge and Thames River. What more fitting tribute to this stunning view and venue than a simple, elegant draped mandap with flowers? The understated styling was influenced by Disha’s wish to keep her wedding stylish and but simplistic with flowers, drapes and candles throughout the day. Brocade chair covers and a pretty petal walkway, lit with candles finished the room. A stunning Ice Ganesh which sat in front of a gorgeous spring blossom tree welcomed guests on entering the room. With the wedding look completed, we moved on to decorating the reception. The colours were pastel and so perfect for a spring wedding – peach, pink and ivory. The floral candlewall backdrop was specially adapted to integrate the colour palette. With the candlewall lit, the candles set a warm romantic ambience in the room. The table centres followed a spring theme of flowers and candles; pink spray roses, peach tulips and cream calla lilies submerged in vases. Sunken table centres or submerged table centres are so appropriate when looking for something that is classic, simple and not too tall.
None of our great events are possible without working side by side great suppliers who always make life so easy for us! so we’d like to thank Nina, Nikita and Prashant from Madhus again for assisting us to plan the logistics for the event and Riverbank Plaza Hotel for assisting us during a busy bank holiday for them
